We do not allow visitors come to our home because of a very serious and contagious disease called Parvo. We have known breeders who has had a whole litter die of Parvo or their adults be carriers. This is a very sad situation and very real! The carrier of this disease are people and/or other animals. With consulting with our Veterinarian, he advised us to take this action. We are protecting our inviroment, puppies and dogs and we do not want to put them in jeopardy.

We understand your desire to visit and see for yourself what amazing animals Doodles are, but in order for us to protect our dogs and puppies and the families puppies we we will not – under any circumstances - permit visitors to come and visit our home.

We will provide you with any information about our dogs, puppies etc to help you with your choice and then, if you have reserved a puppy with us, we will send you photos by e-mail each week so families can watch their puppy grow! Or if you are having trouble deciding which puppy to choose we will be glad to send as many photos you would like & information about them to help you choose your perfect companion..

***** We have Many References available. I have had many families in the past to come and visit our home and to see our dogs and puppies so we will be glad to provide you references, upon request.

Thank you for understanding.

What is Parvo?? Workingdogs.com defines Parvo in this way:
“Parvovirus is a viral disease of dogs. It affects puppies much more frequently than it affects adult dogs. The virus likes to grow in rapidly dividing cells. The intestinal lining has the biggest concentration of rapidly dividing cells in a puppy's body. The virus attacks and kills these cells, causing diarrhea (often bloody), depression and suppression of white blood cells. In very young puppies it can infect the heart muscle and lead to sudden death.” Parvo is an opportunist disease that can live for years on pavement where a sick dog has vomited or defecated and thus continuing to re-infect other animals. Some strains are more deadly than others and we have recently heard reports of already-vaccinated dogs getting sick with it. Parvo has been around for years, and seems to come and go – sometimes lots of outbreaks, sometimes not as many. Recently there have been many outbreaks and this causes us great concern as owners and breeders, as we do not want any of our puppies or dogs exposed. Once you see a dog infected with Parvo, you’ll do anything you can to ensure you never see it again. It’s one of the worst viruses around. It will break your heart to see a dog with it. Many who get it do not survive, and puppies have the highest death rates.Fortunately, there are vaccinations available for Parvo, and we make sure all our dogs and puppies are vaccinated. For puppies, the series is not complete until the pups are 12 weeks old. Of course if you are picking your puppy up at around 7-8 weeks old, you’ll need to finish out the series with your own vet to ensure he is protected
What is Coccidia?
Coccidia are single celled organisms that infect the intestine. They are microsopic parasites detectable on routine fecal tests in the same way that worms are but coccidia are not worms and they are not visible to the naked eye. Coccidia infection causes a watery diarrhea which is sometimes bloody and can even be a life-threatening problem to an especially young or small pets.
