Toby a F2b Goldendoodle
He is living with the Warner Family in Texas
Toby is very calm and sweet. He learns fast. His favorite treat we use is Natural Balance dog food in sausage form. We cut it up into bites and use it for his training. toby is very friendly although he does give you a warning bark if someone or something is around.
Toby has a wonderful temperment. At 4 months Toby can sit, down, shake hands or give me your paw, hi-5, stay up to count of 5, come, leave it. At 6 mo he can loose leash walk, is learning to target so I can teach him some service dog tricks like light switch on/off, also looking at trying to teach scent and track. We are looking at all skills to see which would be good for Toby as therapy dog or search and rescue, etc. He is so good-natured, gentle and easy to work with that our dog trainer believes he should have an agent to become a dog model. He is great with our other 2 dogs which are both small. He has been very good with the grandchildren. After his first puppy class he learned not to jump up on people which was helpful with the grandkids. He is happy to snuggle up and cuddle and loves to be held.

Hey Denna and Brittany, I just wanted to let you know how "Abram" (we haven't decided on a name yet) did last night. We put our large crate together and put it in our laundry room. After playing a couple hours, we put him in it while we tried to get the kids to bed. He started whining and crying. When I went to check on him he was standing up really wanting out. Ella, our 4 yr old thought of the great idea to keep the crate door open with the blanket we put in there, his blanket you sent, and his new toys, so we did that, left his food and water in there and just closed the laundry room door. He never again made a peep! My 8 yr old, Austin got up at 7:30 and took him outside. They played in and out for a couple hours. When I got out of bed (around 9:30, told you we're late risers), I found the puppy and my 8 yr old asleep in the crate together! A couple hours later, they took another nap together in the living room! I couldn't believe he slept all night without crying and he is SO sweet! We love him so much already! I'm sending you some pictures already. I think he's already comfortable. I'm just hoping the next few days go as well! Thank you so much for our new puppy! Jennifer

Maggie a F2b Goldendoodle
She is living with the Moix Family
Denna and Brittany,
I wanted to send you an update on our little, I mean BIG puppy! Maggie (formerly known as “Lilac”), who is almost 8 months old, has adjusted to life at the Moix home surprisingly well. She’s a gentle soul, but has lots of energy and is very playful. She is incredibly smart…we taught her how to shake, sit, lay down, rollover, as well as ring the bell when she needs to go out. She knows words such as “drop it” and “off” and “salute”, as well. Oreo, our 7 lb. poodle, has adjusted to her, somewhat, though she enjoys free reign on the house while Maggie remains in the kitchen until she is a little less of a “Chewie Louie”. Maggie loves a good game of chase. She’ll grab something that is “off limits” and begin the game as soon as she can find a willing opponent. She’s very much a people-dog and our guests are very impressed w/ her intelligence…once she settles down. She LOVES to go out on walks/ runs, though she is still a little fearful of biking. Thanks so much for sharing our precious Maggie (also known as Maggie Jane, Maggs, Magradoodle, and Mag-pie).

He is living with the Walker Family
hey Denna! wanted to give you an update on amos. he is doing wonderful! he can sit, shake, leave it and fetch/return balls. he is the sweetest thing and we can't get enough of him. he is so handsome and everyone that sees him wants to know about him. he is truly a gentle giant.....he weighed 85 lbs at the vet last week. he either sleeps with us in the bed or he sleeps on his "pillow" and he greets you when you walk in. he loves to stand up and give "hugs" with his paws on your shoulders. we were wondering where his brother went to live and how he is doing and wondering about how is mom is doing with her therapy job. in the november issue of "chenal living" he will be the featured "pampered pet" and there is a little story about him with some pictures of him, our other dog and the cat. if you get a chance pick up a copy! thanks for allowing us this awesome opportunity to have this great boy!
